So, this post might be a bit different than normal. I (Sabrina) wasn't feeling too great today but I made myself do some of my art coursework today - but whilst I was mixing my paints together, I got thinking.
People are like paint colours.
Sometimes we'll find a colour that goes with us nicely, and sometimes even perfectly. We blend together and get caught up in our own worlds, creating something else even more beautiful.
In contrast, sometimes we don't complement each other that well. If you add too much pressure on the paintbrush, or if the colours are all too different, it just creates an unappealing/negative colour.
Every colour has their own personality. For example, you have fiery red, joyous yellow, elegant violet. They all have their own quirks and qualities and connotations. If you mix them together, you can create beautiful harmonies and hues of sunset oranges, forestry greens, and oceanic blues.
People are like paint colours. They each have a contribution to the canvas of life - they're all different but equal. We need to treat others with a fair amount of pressure from the brush, but we should also change our mixtures every now and then to keep things interesting. We don't want to be stuck painting the same thing over and over again. Just remember to be conscious of the colours you're using.
